Responsibilities of Bahawalpur Board
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bahawalpur operates under the Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1976. The board came into being on March 30, 1998. Initially this board functioned under Multan Board but later it was formed separately. A separate entity. The Bahawalpur Board is an independent body which generates its funds only through examinations and other fees as it does not receive any grants or donations from other institutions. It has the power to make its own rules and regulations. The board conducts annual matriculation and intermediate examinations and provides result cards to students and also organizes extracurricular activities within its jurisdiction.
